1025- Heads up Long Island/New England ----ADS-B showing 71st FS T-38 using ident DM 01 working way up the NJ coast. Maybe heading to Pease like earlier in the week.
Rgr Ron checking my tape 1012 local this morning heard DEMON-1 req direct WEEZE. Think someone had that waypoint the other day.
WEEZE waypoint | OpenNav That will put you near Pease for sure just offshore.
We need a list of all the Langley T-38 two letter callsigns :)
Never heard WEEZE down here before.Usually they go direct DEERPARK (DPK) or ACK when headed up that way.
1445 local DEMON-1 off Pease headed back South.

DOOM 71 at FL270 (presumably a Barksdale B-52) is told to switch up Memphis Center on 257.75. In the brief clip below at 2:52 pm EDT they are given a phone number to call about a possible pilot deviation. Later heard on 319.15>363.1>269.175.

Last week B-1s WAGON 11 and 12 out of Guam were heard on satcom in a similar conversation with Oakland Oceanic Control about a number to call about a possible pilot deviation.

They’ve used PANAMA quite a bit when they head up to Pease. I’ve seen them SWAMP as a travel callsign elsewhere too. DEMON1 was a nice treat for us at PSM today, wish he put on a better show but those T-38s don’t hold much gas!

E1F after landing at KPHL on Runway 35 20:58
via this link
Surprising they used runway 35 the short 6500 foot runway at PHL.Not a busy runway at times.

Some of the Langley F-22's are down at Tyndall along with a bunch of F-16's from 138th FW Tulsa.
Been a while since the 138th FW had a deployment.Maybe they have one coming up hence the extra training.

Off topic there was a railroad mishap up on the Strasburg Railroad yesterday just off the Amtrak Keystone line in Paradise Pa
near Lancaster. They have been doing some construction on extending a siding and someone left track switch in wrong position.
Luckily nobody hurt according to reports. Short 10 second vid.
