Looks like MacDill changed their minds and their KC-135s are bugging out Northwest using ASSET callsigns.
AF2 98-0002 just departed LAX headed east back to ADW
Quite possibly that is the 'third plane' that used to be known as SAM 18.
It may later depart Ramstein with a REACH callsign and a spoofed hex ID as has happened on other recent AF1 international trips.
Also see 09-0018 pinging on ACARS as SAM46.
Don't see it right now, I saw the pings from this morning.
I wonder if it is just doing preflight checks for a flight tomorrow. For domestic trips SAM 46 usually parks out of sight at a military base away from the AF1 destination. On international trips SAM 46 often parks at the same airport as AF1 from what I've seen.

I had BLUE 81 flight check in with ATC, flight of four, in the block FL250 to FL270, standard formation. 377.125>307.225>282.375.

Today’s NOTAMs shows there will be a flyover of two F18s at Old Dominion University this Saturday at 1000 feet above ground between 1230P and 130PM.
Also in the NOTAM is multiple flyovers at NAS Oceana on November 14 between 345PM and 415PM.
