Fighter jet escorts plane out of restricted airspace over Philadelphia area
It seems like most residents in the Philadelphia area heard a fighter jet fly over the city around 9:20 a.m. Monday.

1320- TURAF 16 (Turkish AF KC-135R) in our area heading for DOV. Working First Ops (349.4). Departed from Oklahoma City.
Maybe another Pax River KING CH-53K took this first test Pax River F-35C CF-01 elsewhere?

73-1676 is back up off ADW headed WB as AMPEX18(?).
Also, see C-40B SAM910 headed EB from ADW and C-32A SAM799 off Travis AFB headed WB. Odd time of the year to be starting out on a trip.

I'm interested in this TIS-B hit given it came from McGuire and appears to be fixed-wing speed and altitude. I just caught the tail end of the callsign on 125.65 as a number.

They are talking A/A comms on 259.900
1010 edit: I heard one of them say they're also on another channel, I think they said 281.6, didn't hear it too well

I thought they mentioned 281.45 which would be ZDC Sector 59.
You're probably correct, like I said I didn't hear it too well. I heard the 281 part clearly but he toned out for the last few digits

Rage 5 on 370.9 (ZBW 46) at 1049 then 254.375 (ZBW 31) at 1054 cleared direct to what sounded like Warren? Then heard him on 264.85 as well.

1105- Unid acft (no call noted-prob tanker) working Burner ATCCA (327.6) advising they are running a little late.
1118- Rage 1 (F-15 MA ANG) working Giantkiller (249.8) advising that Rage 3 will depart the are first followed by 2-ship Rage 1 & 2. A2A feqs 259.0/259.9/264.85. Rage 3 advised Giantkiller the his 3-ship flt (Rage 3,4 & 5) will depart the area. Rage 3 flt working ZDC Atlantic City (281.45).
