Pilot said they have a door indication problem. Now returning to Pease to get it fixed. Original destination sounded like somewhere in the UK.
Was just watching this flight and noticed never got above 15k but now on return climbing up pretty good.
Maybe they found the problem but got to rtb anyway to check.

I sure wouldn't pressurize a 767 with a credible indication of a passenger or cargo door problem.

These guys climbed up to FL260 on the return leg to PSM.

I haven't been able to listen to the LiveATC archives yet but I'm wondering if they had a landing gear door indication problem.

Later: Just checked the tapes, BLUE 22 told Moncton they had an indication showing that they had an entry door open but they could climb. Obviously they were convinced that the indication was false, i.e. the door handles inside stowed properly, the visual indications were good and no sound of a pressure leak. Still a wise idea not to make a crossing with a faulty indication.

F-15s had to be the FL ANG guys from Jacksonville?
Yeah Ron took dummy me a few minutes to remember who they were.. Zoomed in could see lightning bolt and dark blue tailband.. DOH!
Notice on long taxi out they stop at lighted station I guess for one more safety check.Check for possible fuel leaks etc.

One of the F-15 prototypes, 72-0019, went up to just under 103,000 feet. I don't think a U-2 has ever been that high. :)

See: McDonnell Douglas F-15 Streak Eagle > National Museum of the United States Air Force™ > Display (af.mil)

Streak Eagle Archives - This Day in Aviation

For the operational F-15s, Air Force regs require a partial pressure suit above 50,000 feet although a friend who flew them in his youth says he did a little zoom climb above that one time. ;)
