No but the FAA addressed the question about having two transponders with two different Hex codes active at the same time while the aircraft is in flight.

One particular item to remember in that case is that you need to make sure that your flight ID and your ICAO code are entered correctly on both units, otherwise an ADS-B In-equipped aircraft will see that as two aircraft flying very close to one another.” – James Marks, FAA ADS-B Focus Team.

Looks like you are right, you can only have one hex ID.

Thanks. (y)

Guys,

One of their UH-72s (# 13-72290/AE2031)has been flying in the Martinsburg/Hagerstown area this afternoon.

We have the UH-72's as frequent visitors but they're not based here, 13-72290 has always said it's 1172290 as it does today. It's been awhile since I looked into them but if I remember correctly they're based further west, maybe along the Ohio River.

Funny. ADS-B showing in one place as 13-72290 & in another as 11-72290. Guess I read the wrong one. :(

Sure are a lot of restrictions around that Cherry Point area.

There used to be a LiveATC feed covering the Cherry Point Approach frequencies, but it's been down for awhile now. There is another feed covering the warning areas and 121.500. Here is the audio of the controller trying to contact the aircraft on guard.

Audio Cherry Point calling N79NX (LiveATC)

VP will travel to Munich, Germany to attend the February 18-20 Munich Security Conference.

SecState also headed east with VP. Most likely on separate C-32As. Usually VP overseas flights include 2x C-32s so this trip may require 3x (2x for VP and crew and 1x for Blinken).

After the stop for fuel and directions in Shannon, BOXER 42 is back on the way to Tel Aviv.

Likely related to this congressional delegation:

SAM400 97-0401 C-37A landed in Tel Aviv yesterday apparently with Speaker Pelosi and 7 members of congress. I find that hard to believe however because that would be tight quarters for a 12+ hour flight.

Some luggage and limos went over yesterday.
