Diplomatic understatement. ;)

'Our colleagues who recently relocated to Lviv will spend the night in Poland.

They will regularly return to continue their diplomatic work in Ukraine and provide emergency consular services.'

Will they regularly return with MC-130Js and CV-22Bs?

Do you know if the CV-22Bs landed in Ukraine or across the border in Poland to pick up the DoS folks?

It appeared to me that the Ospreys dropped off the screen for a while near the border and then reappeared without showing up in Ukraine airspace.

I suspect that they went into Ukraine from the timing of the operation, maybe 90 minutes or so once everyone was in place at the border.

But, I'm not sure. The morning shows will have the inevitable 'what are your sources over at the Pentagon telling you?' segments.

The Drive has this article out on the evacuation:

U.S. Says Its Diplomats Are Out Of Ukraine After U.S. Special Ops Planes Tracked Near Polish Border (thedrive.com)

BISON 21 (KC-135R/62-3533/914th ARW) refueling WIZARD 16 (P-8A/168441/VPU-2) along AR-206L (235.100).

I had some chat on 235.1 earlier this morning; I assumed it was from some AAR out in W386 at the time. If it was from AR206 as per your post it means that I was receiving 235.1 from over 200 miles away from my location.

Both aircraft started communicating on 235.100 pretty early…I believe that I started picking WIZARD 16 up when they were in the vicinity of the DNY VOR. So a little bit closer to you, nonetheless still impressive.

Didn't hear anyone in Viper this morning, the VT F-35s (JAWS, CRAZY, CHEVY) went to Laser/Yankee around 09:30
I didn’t hear anyone in Viper this morning or this afternoon, unless I missed something. Rain moving in from the west must’ve influenced their decision to go to Laser/Yankee.
