Yes, I had it go up at 1833. It was showing DECEE01 on Mode-S too, along with the radio call. This is one of the units that's real good about programming the correct callsign into their Mode-S transceiver.

I think you're right. That's the only mil aircraft I saw on my screen and matching the altitudes she read. After going through my log from yesterday I see that I logged 163839 up until 1823. This issue is that it's mode-s is 29CBB8 so I didn't see it see it. It would've been at the bottom of the list when it's sorted by mode-s, where as all the Mil codes are at the top.

Well then there may be multiple birds with this mode-s. I previously logged 29CBB8 matching SUNNY-276. This SUNNY-037 wasn't heading to Norfolk either. It was heading west, 118.95>118.675> then Linden I think. No other C-12s were logged around that time.

We discussed that in post #1563, well actually you said that multiple Navy birds seem to have 29CBB8 miscoded.

What I meant by "163839 is out of NS Norfolk" is that it is the base for the aircraft. I doubt 163839 would be using SUNNY callsigns seeing as though it operates as a NAVY 7C bird, most often on the LFI-DAA;DAA-LFI shuttles, however anything's possible I guess because I've seen a 7E Jax bird fly under the SUNNY callsign out of Davison in the past.

Well then there may be multiple birds with this mode-s. I previously logged 29CBB8 matching SUNNY-276. This SUNNY-037 wasn't heading to Norfolk either. It was heading west, 118.95>118.675> then Linden I think. No other C-12s were logged around that time.

You are correct. I've been looking at things like that and haven't really had enough info on SCORE to make conclusions although the picture is starting to fill in. The P-3s always seem to use SCORE 3x. The E-2C, however, has always used SCORE 12. The various KC-130 aircraft have been all over the board with their numbers.

[Being able to include the entire log with both entries for each aircraft that displays a callsign (first detected and then again when the callsign is decoded), makes it much, much easier for me to post these logs. I don't have to go through it all trying to find the double lines and deleting them which took a lot of time. So, if no one minds the duplicate lines (well, almost duplicate - except for callsign), I'll continue to do them this way and post them more often than I had been. Now...if only I could figure out how to get RR to keep the formatting.]
