The fire department used to use their tact Channel 2 for structure fires and things like that recently they switched to Channel 5 but I don't see Channel 5 in the radio reference database any help would be appreciated.

You should try putting your scanner in search mode the next time that you think this new channel 5 is being used.
Its only used on structure fires .I will have to time the search function perfectly during those
You could also start a structure fire and and use close call. There's no need to wear your self out when you can have them come to you.
