I drove up north this last weekend to map out Stones Mobile radio system with a couple surprises. There seems to be three systems. I suspect the Motorola Type II is still active. I forgot to hold the control channel for the sys id to confirm but I did get voice. There is also DMR Tier III and Connect + both active at Grand Forks, Crookston, and Thief River Falls. DSD+ was not showing the channel number for Connect +. TIII seems to be following a common band plan with a base frequency = 851.0000.

Also coming back south came across 451.1375 DMR TIII Site 2. Licenses point towards Ottertail power in Cass County or Montana-Dakota Utilities Fergus Falls. Needs checking out.
My plan is to check out Rogers Radio Bemidji area, Racom and East River Electric Coop. Going to take all summer.
If anybody with DSD+ can help out that would be awesome!

so plugging this data into your scanner you got this to work? because what came up the other day in the DB is not working, nor is all the freqs there. I'm trying to wrap my head and hands around programming dmr into my 436hp and have yet to have any success.

I used DSD+ Fastlane to gather data. Channel numbers used by DSD and LCNs used by Uniden scanners are not the same. I did use the lcn finder but came with conflicted data. This is a known issue with TIII. I trusted the data from DSD+. Try dividing by 2 for the LCNs.

Also, not all frequencies are licensed. Seems this system is using a common band plan with a base frequency = 851.0, channel spacing = 6.25khz. I found the additional channels by doing some math.
