Strange Moving Signal/Noise ?

Keep seeing, hearing this odd moving signal. Starts in the 11 meter band I think, and moves smoothly to 26.8 mhz, stops, and repeats about every ten seconds. Any ideas? It comes and goes this afternoon. Never seen it before today. It's kind of a buzzing noise, and won't decode as a standard am/fm modulation.

I fixed the video. I'm thinking a tree was bumping into a power line and arcing as it came back off as the sound was simliar. ??? Was windy today. Had a 3 second real black out later in the day...

Sounds right to me. I had a transformer go bad out on the street at a former residence and it was arching and making that same noise and quite loud too. Our power was out by that time, so the neighbors gathered outside to watch the fireworks until the transformer blew up with a nice POW!

Sounds like RFI of some sort, just the little of it I heard.

When I looked at videos of arcing power lines, it was the same sound. Interesting that the distance the spark travels changes as the tree moves away from the voltage source changing it's wave length as the trace shows.
