I’m not sure. I finally received my order after filing a PayPal dispute. Magically I got replies to my email with an explanation that business has been tough due to family issues.

They are just not the same company anymore. From the numerous posts, we can all see that YMMV when placing orders and actually getting what you ordered in a reasonable time frame or even at all. The customer shouldn't have to jump through hoops.

Same here. My 8-port died. I sent an email 2-3 weeks ago; with no response.

Scanner Master currently shows all Stridsberg multicouplers are out of stock.
I wouldn't buy from Scanner Master anyway. They jack the price up, compared to buying directly from Stridsberg. It seems like ever since the OM died, a couple years ago, Stridsberg has had communication problems. Hopefully this is just yet another rough patch; and we're not watching their demise unfold.

Anyone have an alternative they know is of good quality? I know many have built their own, but I'm rather done with that.

Hi All,

I am in Australia and in the same boat - Ordered 22/06/2023, followed up asking for a shipping date on 05/07/2023 (as it had not been shipped or acknowledged), received the (MCA208M) about a week later. Was on holiday for 2 weeks and after plugging it in on my return, found it had no receive on any of the 8 outputs so emailed them asking what my options were hoping to work through the issue and not have to send it back, to which the ONLY response I have had was on 09/08/2023 advising that if i needed / wanted to return they would have to contact UPS and let me know - nothing heard.

Four additional emails have been sent requesting a response and as of this post I have had no reply from them at all.

Any advice would be appreciated as I am not here to complain, just state the facts and would like it resolved ASAP.

Cheers,

Mark.

Well I shipped my PRE-20 preamp off today with no email or phone calls from Morgan. It should be under warranty so maybe I'm just adding to the pile in Shreveport only time will tell.

Is the green LED lit? There's a fuse but I think it's inside and you have to unscrew the bottom to get to it. You have a good working 12v AUS power adapter?

Yes power supply is definitely supplying 12 volts and the only LED on it is red to indicate power is being supplied. Unable to see any fuse inside the unit.

Mine has a green light to indicate power.

When I sent my 8-port in the 1st time, I was told "Most likely the MMIC amp has gone out, probably just a random parts failure." Mine has now went out again. Not quite random IMO.

Logically the LED would be powered after the fuse, so its good. Fuse is a small glass tube with colored bands that are soldered to the circuit board, if I remember correctly. I blew my mmic amplifier when I had a 2-way portabel radio connected to one port and accidentally pushed its PTT when I picked it up. The late John Stridsberg sent me a new mmic free of charge, good service support. I haven't checked the pinout and voltage but it could be possible to replace it with a pga103+ that have a better specification and costs something like $5 at Ebay.

you eventually will get a tracking email when it ships.

I never tried to email or call about my order becouse from from the replies on here they are not very good at responding.
just be patient.

Should I be worried as well? I too have recently ordered from them. Also awaiting response which has been nothing at this point. But the item sure was paid for pretty quickly though.
I would be following up with an email as I received no tracking number or shipping advice. I emailed them 2 weeks later asking where it was and then they shipped it 2 days later (have all the paperwork).

Well, still no communication with this company, however the item has shipped and I have the tracking number now, so it's on it's way. But this is really a very poor way for this company to operate like this. Regardless of whatever behind the scenes issues are taking place. I'm just happy that I'm going to get it now though.
