I'm having trouble hearing the Barberton Police Department in Norton Police Department New Franklin and others I'm hearing them coming in bits and pieces I'll need I like if somebody cable to help me to figure out how to get holding on to those or set the settings up properly to to do what I want to do with my scanner

I believe Hudson Pd Dispatch is TG 2661 on Summit P-25 System using the KW conversion method. Can anyone confirm before posting to RR Db?

I'm hearing that. Seen that talk group on my scanner but I do not know who it is but I'll keep an ear out to hear about any addresses or anything like that and sometimes I'm hearing bits and pieces of Barberton and Norton police and fire traffic on the simulcast system

Hudson PD has not moved to new system ... You are hearing programming testing of new radios with Hudson. The new TG for Hudson PD was submitted, it is being held by RR database admin until Hudson officially moves.

I have a pro 651 scanner I'm here in bits and pieces of Barberton Police Department in Norton police department in Norton fire in Barberton Fire Department I need help to figure it out why it's doing that

Pretty sure that's what I've had in both of my scanners for a while...and am getting nothing on either now.
Time to fire up my programming software and verify.

I guess more changes are on the way for the new system a lot more fire departments and police departments that are switching over to the new system expected completion date is midpoint 2018

Yep. There's lots of corruption in the local governments there. Particularly in law enforcement.
I'm sure that's a big reason they are choosing encryption.

Don't know where you get your info but most departments will be in the clear. Only one department is going full encryption and two are encrypting some tac channels. Plenty of traffic to listen to.

Thank you for clearing up the false info posted by another member. We know Akron is the department going to full time encryption. What are the 2 departments that plan to encrypt some of the tac channels?
