Thanks!
I look forward to the other cities being submitted by you or someone else as they roll out.

Note also that the talkgroups in use so far appear to be Phase I talkgroups, meaning older digital scanners should still be useful for now. I'm using a 436 and a 536, and I don't still have any digital scanners that don't do Phase II, so I haven't personally tested this and someone can correct me if I am wrong. But my understanding is this is a Phase II capable system - meaning it is capable of carrying Phase II TDMA talkgroups on it - but it can (and right now is) also carrying Phase I talkgroups that most any digital scanner can monitor.

In other words, if you have a scanner that can monitor Atlanta, DeKalb, Forsyth, Cobb, etc. right now, you should be good on NFRRS for now also.

I've been hearing them setup/test the units all day long. Wish I had known they'd be doing this so I could've been in a place to capture the RID along with the description (e.g. Rescue 1 Portable 1).

10270 Has not been added to the database, it is Sandy Springs Police Dispatch (Chattcom) according to the service locations given

Yep. And I heard a SSPD unit ask another unit to go to Tac, and then they showed up on 10271. So I've added both to the database. Let's keep 'em comin'.

Hello, I am new to scanning and I have a Uniden Homepatrol II and have been listening to sandy springs police dispatch and similar channels for the past few months. Recently nothing has been transmitted over SSP dispatch so I looked it up and I guess you guys are saying they switched systems. I dont get how these talk group id things work? How do i find the new channel SSPD dispatch is on?

North Fulton Regional Radio System Authority Trunking System, Various, Georgia - Scanner Frequencies

You'll either have to program it yourself using Sentinel or wait for the next database update...

Did anyone else notice a severe drop in quality this afternoon and a return to better quality this evening.
I heard garbled transmissions and long dropouts during the day and pretty good quality this evening.

Could they be fine tuning the system?

It's been coming in great all day in Tucker. Maybe a site went down, that is a site near you but not one of the closer sites to me (not that any of the sites are that close to me).

I've been listening all day on my APX in no affiliate scan mode, and it sounds flawless, from West Cobb county at that.

Have not heard ONE user go "digital" into the system, about the only issue I notice is varying audio levels, some of the console ID's have very low audio and some users are very loud.

Speaking of console ID's, good to see CHATCOMM finally using consoles. I did get an Emergency Call this afternoon from SS fire. Sounds like they were testing all the console features at some point.

Looks like they got their $12.1 million worth. :D

I'm listening on a Home Patrol 1, just south of the Chattahoochee near Roswell Road, everything is very sporadic. Some transmissions are 5x5, other times I will see it stop on an ID but no sound. Not sure if its a programming, antenna or other issue.
