Thinking on buying pro-97

Hello
I plan on buying a Pro 97 to listen to milair, since my pro 95 cant scan the milair band because it is extremly deaf. I live in Portland, oregon so with that in mind what do you think I should do? Just go with the pro 95, or get the pro 97? I also like to listen to the Mot II trunk system here, and the civial airband .

The pro 97 is a great scanner as is the pro 95 own both. I say the 97 has signal stalker and mil air in addition to everything the 95 does also with rebanding the 97 will likely be upgradable where the 95 may or may not. Plus the reception on the 97 is great and so is the audio.

Never thought about the pro 95 not being upgradible because of the rebanding thing. I'll run this past my parents to see if they will pay for 1/2 of it or even 1/4 of it. Im 13, so every bit helps.

Anymore comments on the Pro 97?

EDIT: Sounds like my dad understands the rebanding of the 800mHz and he is going to pay for half of it :lol:
