Trinity Waterbury/Cheshire

Hi!

I have a BCD325P2 with latest firmware installed. I have been monitoring Trinity Waterbury/Cheshire on 461.225 with no issues until perhaps 6-9 months ago. From what I see in the DB and read on this forum, they have migrated to Homeland Defense DMR. Is this correct? If so, is it likely that I will be able to hear Trinity by purchasing the Uniden DMR upgrade key for my scanner and programming in the DB frequencies using ARCXT? Or is it more likely that I will be wasting my money on the DMR upgrade? I do see what appears to be decent signal reception using the Wolcott site but without the DMR upgrade purchase yet.

It's worth it now, I am monitoring them successfully. Uniden has recently corrected the DMR tracking issue, so if you have not updated to the latest firmware, you will need to do this also. And you need to monitor the Wolcott site for Trinity. Unlike Hunter's, unfortunately I've found Trinity can only be heard on that site and it's a little disappointing the coverage it has for the entire town of Cheshire. I'm sure it's great for Waterbury. See the link below.

Jim, I just upgraded the firmware on both the 325P2 & the 996P2 and the 461.225 is coming in loud & clear now here in New Haven
