Trouble creating a wiki page

I'm trying to create a new page for the MPSCS Unit IDs Wiki but I've been struggling to find a way to create one, I can't link a page either because I don't have a page to link to. Could someone show me how to find the tools to create a new page?

This is the page I've been trying to break off from Michigan Public Safety Communications Systems (MPSCS) RIDs

It's quite easy. Encase the new title in double square brackets (to the right of 'P'), thusly

* [[Put the new title here]]

Store it. The new link will show up in red; click it and you will be given a new page.

I tried that, but it just made the text disappear.

Everyone gets this wrong the first time; there is a preview step before you store it. Do a 'show preview' and if you like what you see, then store it

Ok, I got it working! I should've mentioned that I tried the category feature (like this: *[[Category:X]]) I just removed 'category' and It shows up now!

Wiki categories are a rather different animal. As you are in Michigan, we have a set list of categories for that state. Use as many of them as you deem approproate. Place them at the bottom of your article
