I filed a report with the better business bureau !
You really should not have done that. Not responding to an email is not cause to report a company to the BBB. It won't go anywhere, in any case. You should have just contacted Uniden or G&G Communications to see about getting your radio repaired, as suggested above.

In the time you spent filing that report, you could have had your radio boxed up and on its way to be repaired.

Hi as a Whistler TRX1 owner I have been having trouble with my scanner specifically the Antenna has wobbled loose, I have been trying for months to get a response from Whistler. They were going through an acquisition, and with the new owner still have not addressed my warranty problem. Any suggestions as what to do? Kindly PS I would purchase a Uniden

The acquisition process ended months ago. Have you reached out to them using the contact page?

You may send your unit for service to the following address along with a dated proof of purchase (Items without a dated proof of purchase will be considered out-of-warranty), a note explaining the issue, and your full contact information including phone number / email to the following address. Items without a dated proof of purchase will be considered out-of-warranty.

I wonder if anyone has tried the Old Fashioned method of contacting a company where you actually "Talk" to them in voice , over wires.
Great idea!

But, first, you have to know what number to call.

And, then, the company needs to have live humans who answer the phone.

Well nothing but crickets from @Whistler_Support this is not a very good sign.
@WhistlerSupport has been here multiple times and would have seen my post and has not replied not a good sign at all.
You tell a person to send an item in for repair but not post prices.

Have you sent them an email asking them? I'm sure they'd be happy to respond to your request, but @Whistler_Support doesn't make an appearance on here often, and might not want to post prices to avoid RR taking it as an ad trying to get business.

:( At the least, all they have to do is put a url in. This way, it takes someone to actually click on the link. IF posting a link (which I see so many here anyway) is a violation, I am sure a form of a link in characters (although is still the same BUT not a 'link', right?), the result is the same since it gets the information out. Another way, have someone post THE link separate of the new Whistler rep, seems OK. :)

And tell me why everything must be spoon fed, lots of businesses make me look for what I need every day, a quick email or search usually gets my answers. But I guess I'm different I don't expect everyone to do for me, I'm willing to make the effort to find the info I want. And, just out of curiosity, how many people complaining have a Whistler scanner in need of repair, or are you looking for it just because? With the way tariffs come and go who knows how often the prices will change over the coming months.

 Wrong side of the bed? Never said anything about 'spoon feeding' anyone. Just suggested a LINK. And, just pointing out some web forums are touchy about posting 'links'. It'll be better I am sure, when the new owners get more of their feet wet (I truly believe). Count to ten and relax..

There is nothing wrong with someone posting a link to a legitimate product, service, or source of information in a RadioReference forum post.

If someone purchases a product or service, there's nothing wrong with them posting the price they paid.

If Whistler wishes to have an active presence in the RadioReference forums to provide customer support, they are welcome to participate.

If Whistler wishes to post prices of their products or services or discuss items for sale on a regular basis, they can talk to @blantonl about establishing a commercial relationship.

Sorry, there has been a delay in posting the out-of-warranty prices to the website, please be a bit more patient as this is out of my control.

Yes I have reached out over 10 times with my warranty issue, but no response. and if the whistler rep wants to contact me I would appreciate it. Lastly my scanner was still under warranty at the time and they purposely did not respond so it would go out of warranty. I do not have any confidence with this company any longer.
