Somehow I can not get mine to attach a picture. So I guess I will type one part of the screen shot so you can see where the error is and it times out on sending the e-mail.

Did you follow Andy's instructions regarding placing ffmpeg.exe into your TwoToneDetect directory? Check to see that it is in the correct directory, the same one as your TwoToneDetect69.exe file.

I checked one more thing like you said and that fixed it. I had to download a ffmpeg.exe for xp. I got it to work. I have one problem it will not attach the mp3 file to telephone number text. I am using att and using the cell phone number like 1234567890@att.text.net.

Thanks

It will do more than one set of tones if you set it that way right. We have five volunteer fire departs with different tones and while a go they had a page but it did not work. I also had tone editor open could that have been the problem.

Yes,

Just add tone sets and info in the tones editor. Don't forget the Add button and the Save to tones.cfg button when you are done. Then you need to exit and restart TwoToneDetect for it to read the new configuration.

Ok I went to the link and ordered what they said might fix the humming problem. On the two tone program the page is only 20-30 seconds long but every time I get a e-mail with the mp3 file it is 1 min and 23 seconds long. I have it set for 2 seconds of silence after the page is done before it starts to record. Is their any adjustments to this that we can do.

Try setting the audio slider up another notch or two.

I have it set up so far that if I move it one notch up I get no audio. It will not scroll if I move it to no audio and that is when it will not work. It is suppose to scroll when is is monitoring right? Someone told me to move it too the no audio and when I did this I have no scroll and it will not detect the tones.
Let me know

It is supposed to scroll when there is an active radio transmission. When no one is talking it should not scroll.

If your recordings are close to 90 sec long and contain lots of dead air after the dispatch it is likely that the numbers are still scrolling after the talk stops. A maximum length of about 90 sec audio recording is hard coded into the system. Maybe turn the squelch knob back a little on the scanner?

Ok I cannot get it work unless it scrolls all the time. So that is reason why it record 90 seconds every time.
That was the default time with it scrolling it is going to record because it hears a sound and the program tells it to stop at 90 seconds max. Well I do not know how to fix it where it does not scroll all the time and work correct. I have adjusted the squelch on the scanner, I have cut the audio squelch up to where right before it says No Audio. When it says no audio I can hear sound coming from scanner on my external speaker, but I got them to set off the tones and it did not work. I am up for any suggestions you have.

I have everything working pretty good on it now but one problem I have two departments being e mailed at the same time. I have checked the tones and they are different and in the right order. One has a A tone 358.6 and a B tone of 378.6. The other has a A tone of 378.6 and a B tone of 358.6. They are very similar but not in the same order. What kind of adjustment do I need to make on the tolerances so this will work correct.

Try changing your B tone duration to 2.6 and see what happens.
