Ensure you are using a stereo cable.
Go to the Audio Control - Recorder tab then set the input Sound Device to the input using. Do you see audio moving in the meters?
If you do then go to the Audio Control - Monitor & Test tab then select the Recorder Audio Service then click the Loopback box.
Ok Getting close, Did what you said, Getting sound but it has a BAD echo .....

It could be your microphone is picking up the speaker audio. Try making some background noise and see if it comes out the speakers. Disable it if not needed. Also check the audio device software if any enhancements or sound effects are set.

Freescan does P25 just fine, I have been using it with my 996XT, 996P2 & 325P2 several years. ProScan is great but overpriced.

Question; Using Freescan and programming a APCO-25 Common Air Interface Exclusive system,
is the 'LCN' order critical, make a difference, should or should not be used? (FYI-control channel only)
I'm guessing not. Only in EDACS. Thoughts would be much appreciated. If this isn't the correct space
for this question, my deepest apologizes.

Using a specific LCN order is not necessary with P25 systems. You do, of course, need to have the control channels, but order of entry does not matter. Correct LCN entry is required for EDACS and LTR systems, along with DMR or NXDN trunked systems.
