How about this one?
10 ft Micro USB, which will work for the SDS200, but not SDS100 or the x36HP models, which need a mini-USB cable end.

Have you tried a USB extension cable? Amazon has some 10 footers for DATA for less than $10
That's what I was thinking - just use the standard short cable and an USB extension cable of the correct length to make the needed 10 foot.

I have a couple of these I use for SDRs that are too far from the computer (due to coax antenna cable length) works fine with no issues on the SDRs so I would think they would also work on your SDS200.

Just to clarify, the OEM programming cable for the SDS200 may have a unique chip in it that the software will require to work correctly. I have run across this may times on my ham radio HTs. The chip might be in the cable or the radio but in any case using an USB extension cable and the OEM cable may head off connection issues that a non OEM long USB/micro cable might cause.

No, the supplied OEM cable is a standard USB A male to male Micro USB cable.

RT Systems are the kings when it comes to needing custom chip containing cables. I guess they do that to thwart software piracy.
You must use their proprietary cables in order to use their software with many of the amateur radio models they support.

Thanks for the info, I was not sure on the SDS200 needing a OEM cable. The USB extension cable is a good work around on radios that do.

Not sure why the OP was having trouble getting a cable that works. About the only other thing that comes to mind is on lots of the standard short USB A to Micro USB cables like the ones used to charge old cell phones is some times they are charge only - no data. That might be something to double check - make sure it is a full data cable and not just a charge only cable.

That wireless device connected to a switch and each sds200 with its own ip address and you are in business
is there instructions some where for this sounds like a winner to me ?
