PgUp and PgDn keys also work.
THANK YOU! This makes life so much easier.
I think you can do that now ... select [F]ind -> ser ... type in the user id. Press tab until you reach the notes field (the last field) ... press tab again ... should place you over the scrolling list of users. I think it even moves you to the currently selected user. From there you can use the arrow keys and PgUp/PgDn keys to browse other radio ids.
It does not. The green horizontal scroll bar just appears in the vicinity of whatever radio IDs you were already looking at (at least in version 0.1.0.41, which was the newest I could find several weeks ago). If you could make it so that when you type in the User ID, and then [Tab] to the scroll view, and have it jump to the selected User ID like you specified it should, that would be awesome!
Using the first digit to jump into the middle of a list (ordered by ID) is problematic. If you type "1" ... does that mean "1", "10", "100", "1000", and so on. It's a scrolling list, not a filtered list. I hope the hints given here will work for you.
Understood, and that makes sense now that you described the problem.
Try this ... when you see an active call ... type [F]ind ... user the arrow keys to highlight the call ... then select ser ... it should fill in the user's info in the "By Address" and "By Name/Label" fields.
I know how to do this one already and use it quite frequently, it's an extremely useful feature! But I mentioned it because having the user ID and name/label fields filled out appears to not affect where the scroll bar takes you once you [Tab] to scroll mode. The bar just appears wherever your User ID list was already.
I know some of those questions were answerable by way of RTFM, so I appreciate your patience. Just wanted to point out a function that doesn't appear to exist yet in what I currently have, which is the 10th public beta.
We've made recent progress in the area ... still needs some work ... and feedback. Watch for the next release. No systems use this feature in the areas I monitor so I'm dependant on folks like you to test it out.
ANYTHING I can do, I'd be happy to help. This is fairly common on this system and I'd be more than happy to get some kind of data dump from the control channel for you when the Page goes through if I knew what I was looking for, or send you a log file of control channel activity during that time period.
