Unknown DMR/Cap+ in Downtown Toronto

I was walking around the Skydome/Scotia Arena/Union Station last night and did a bit of scanning while in the area and found a couple of unknowns.

454.2250 DMR CC 8 tg 10 sec 15th floor
452.0625 DMR CC 10 tg 110 sec
460.9250 CAP 1 tg 16 sec
462.2375 DMR CC 11 tg 103 cleaners

454.2250 could be Simcoe Place.. they are licensed on that frequency but for analog, not sure about the others.

I was down walking around between the Dome/Scotia Place/Skydome/Skydome/Union Station when I was listening to these and I did notice a license for Simcoe Place but it's licensed for analog but that hasn't stopped companies before transmitting digital. LOL.

Companies using their licensed frequency and just changing mode is a common occurrence in the industry. Many factories do just that . They change from analog to DMR without notifying ICAS. The radio shops say it's the licensees responsibility to notify. The licensee has no idea about radios. Those with licenses just pay the annual fee totally unaware that the new radios are using a different mode.

I also see that the Hotel Intercontinental right beside Simcoe Place at 225 Front is licensed for both 452.0625 and 454.2250 so I wonder if one is Simcoe and the other the Intercontinental and the Intercontinental is not licensed as far as I can see on 452.8125 the licensed listed in the DB.

I was going through the TAFL a bit and noticed 462.2375 is licensed to 25 Dockside which is the Corus Quay building at the bottom of Jarvis.

I was out in Toronto today.. I heard 451.7875 RAN 6 TG 0 today asking for maintenance to down where H&M is. I am not sure but I believe this could be Dufferin Mall. There is only 3 H&M's in Toronto, one in Eaton Centre, one in Yorkdale and one in Dufferin Mall and DM is licensed on this frequency (they are also licensed 460.1625)

TEC is DMR UHF, Yorkdale is DMR VHF so I'd say it's Dufferin Mall.

Was 460.1625 DMR? I did notice that the 451.7875 in the TAFL is still licensed as analog.. but 460.1625 had an updated license and was licensed for DMR (both licenses where updated in 2021 on the same day).

Dufferin Mall was using NXDN when I found them

I am not sure what LCN but 452.4500 Cap+ CC 10 was really active yesterday and look like it is part of he Budweiser Stage/Ontario Place system. It's licensed to them and I was getting a bunch of different enc TG's that are on the BS/OP system. Hopefully someone close by there can figure this out.

I am also sure that 406.8375 & 422.8750 DMR CC 10 that I have heard in the past is St Joseph's Health Care in Toronto. There 3 TG's that I have heard in the past but not sure what is what, TG 8355/8356/8357.

I was under the Impression that was originally Mount Sinai. However. The last time I was there I noticed they were carrying what looked like TLK100's, compared to the XPR3000's I've seen them with in the past

I am going to have to investigate it more when I am in Toronto next. I will be out by St Joseph's so I will have to walk over that way and check.

I was up around North York Centre yesterday and got a couple of unknowns.
451.7875 DMR CC 10 TG 107 sec.. I think this may be the Meridian Arts Centre. They are licensed on this frequency and so is another building down more towards Sheppard.
460.1625 DMR CC 15 TG 10 sec... not sure what this is but this is frequency is licensed to Public Services and Procurement Canada in the area.
