SO are there any updates on Henderson and the big update? I still can't believe they need Phase 2 when the entire Safe T system is just going to Phase 1. Guess they got more money than brains in Henderson.
I spoke to an Henderson officer friend of mine who said that all the equipment is already "in, programmed and awaiting installation" he could/would not say what type or frequency info was going to be used. He did say it most likely be middle of 2016 or early 2017. They need to solve the dead spots in the city & county. He said he would check when he got back from his 3 week vacation which he's truly enjoying, at least by his last email.

I was speaking with some of the local radio techs, they were not happy they were not getting their business and money
for this system. I had heard from one of our techs and one in Henderson that both Union & Henderson counties might
be joining with Owensboro & Daviess co to use their P25 system. That sounds a little far-fetched to me due to
the distance, terrain, and equipment pricing for everyone. Looks like we will be waiting to see where that ball bounces.
Everyone is geting away from EDACS, which is what obo uses. beside the distance is too great.
I have started an evansville metro scan club, including, daviess, henderson, warrick, posey pike, union, ohio, mclean, hancock counies and more. please join
