I have been trying to upgrade my Sentinel on a Windows 10 laptop computer. I see from previous post others have had some challenges, too.
I am using a Uniden SDS100. The scanner still works with ARC536PRO and ProScan.
The error message I get is:
Updating unit failed.
Operation is canceled.
The remote server returned an error: 229 Extended Passive
Mode Entered (///2821///)
I am trying to determine what my next move should be from here.

Attempting to update Sentinel database (have done so successfully in the past, scanner connected or not), I receive the error message '229 Extended Passive Mode Entered': Last 4-digit number changes from attempt to attempt. Uninstalled/reinstalled. Ideas?
