Well today we officially hit the 11 month mark since the x36 announcement. One more month to go for the one year anniversary. Can they beat it. The clock is ticking, LOL
If Uniden releases a HP2, that would tick off a whole bunch of x36HP owners. A new HP2 would mean Uniden's been working on that rather than fix the x36HP's. A new HP2 at this point in time would be a bad idea. Would anyone even buy a HP2 knowing what happened with the current x36HP's. I sure wouldn't.

"Come buy our new HP2. It's missing the screen and no antenna port. It may or may not come with a SD card. The built-in GPS won't work out of the box because our vendor hasn't released a stable firmware. All the missing stuff will be fixed with a firmware update to come next few month, but only when your scanner is out if it's return window of time"
This is the thanks he gets for designing a truly revolutionary scanner while the competition's brightest idea so far is to rebrand the same units they were selling 5+ years ago? And did I read right that RS/Whistler raised the price too? What's up with that?
This is the thanks he gets for designing a truly revolutionary scanner . . .

It boils down to some people are happy being scammed, lied to and don't care. Others don't like the "dog and pony" show Uniden has been putting on since day 1.
Not one single missing feature has been addressed or fixed since the x36HP's were released well over 9 months ago. Hardly innovation if you ask me... Bait and switch maybe....
