Using TRX on TDHS District 7 NXDN

I have spent the past few days with several scanners doing searchs while running DSD+ and have submitted several changes to the database here on RR the control channels that were listed for the Dickson and Charlotte sites were not correct
only thing i cant figure out whats going on i can bring lets say site 18 or any others within range of myself in charlotte, and while listening to say site 18 i get talkgroups for dickson and charlotte and humphreys county and others i havent figured out yet.

i also have only the dickson and charlotte sites enabled on my trx1 but am also picking up traffic from most of the other sites as well, i was with the dickson county sheriffs office for 16 years and had a lot of dealings with greer on clarksville, could they have this system misconfigured in some way or something we havent figured out about the way agencys are transmitting on frequencys that do not belong to that perticular agency? wouldnt that be against the law if they are not licensed for those freqs?

im just grasping for straws here, im an over the road truck driver and spend about 8 weeks at a time away from home so its gonna be a bit now before i get to play anymore with this setup

but if i can get some hints to try im home for a night here and there and dont have a problem trying things suggested here to help us get this figured out.

could they still be somehow tied into the LTR system too? i know that was a headach to all agencys and that was about the time i left just before they swapped to the passport system.

Thanks for any hints, Im on my mac right now will try to get my windows machine out here in a bit and ill post my dsd freq file of all the systems i was able to map for your review and maybe someone may see something im not doing right I have no idea LOL

yea im about center of charlotte over by creekwood high school so im able to pick up a ton of traffic on this site, just wish i had more time to work this but gotta head out in the am.

You may have some talk groups roaming , since they are wide area , I'm assuming. Then again this system does not work very well at all. The audio sounds terrible since its 6.25 FDMA. Coverage is a huge problem across the board. I don't know of any agency's on this system who are happy with it. Since there was talk of freq's also. Greer licenses most of this stuff to themselves ( they own the NXDN system ) everybody from public safety to a taxi cab company gets loaded on to this system. Greer uses Homeland region 7 towers which our tax money bought and sells the county's , and everyone else airtime on this system. I have lots of knowledge on this system any more questions just ask

Yea I knew about the other private company's using our towers there was also a couple of concrete company's on this system when it was the passport system I don't see them now but yea I heard all kinds of non le talk on this system this past week it's a cluster to figure out
But I have a radio shack 800 MHz antenna on my trx1 and inside the house it picks up as good or better then the outside antenna I was using for DSD blew my mind on the reception I gained with it wish I had 2 more I'd run them on each of my sdr dongles lol

Radio Shack online has the RS800's for $23 and change if you are willing.

My local shack has them too I just got him back in the scanner business he let me have one for 15 told him yesterday I need 2 more they will be waiting on me next time I go home

I have finally gotten humphreys county correct and all working in the trx1 scanner.

Do not add all the tower to the site to scan you are better off adding the closet tower to you location to scan all the talk groups. The more towers you scan you will miss out on traffic. It is always best also to add a wild card to the talk group epically in dickson and Cheatham counties cause there are public safety talk groups that are not on here. So add the wild card to get the talk group numbers. These towers all talk to each other so on a wild card you could be in dickson and pick up Stewart or Houston counties.
