We are excited to announce the launch of UtahAlerts 2.0!

Since 2008, we have been informing our community of interesting radio traffic through our account on X (x.com/utahalerts). In response to a growing perception that incident alerts are too public (resulting in safety and other concerns), we are transitioning to GroupMe (GroupMe.com). This change will allow us to provide a more closed environment, ensuring that alerts reach the right people without compromising privacy and officer safety.

Join us on GroupMe and stay informed about the latest incidents in a safer, more controlled setting.

I've joined, but the group does not show up in my groupme app. There does not appear to be a menu option anywhere to add a group.

Yes, I did that and got approval, but Utahalerts does not show up in my Groupme app.

What is your name in GroupMe? Feel free to message me directly if that is easier.

Based on your calling I can see somebody with the same name listed as a member. I just DMed you in GroupMe.

I got groupme going and added a request for utah alerts, I haven't seen anything to tell me if I'm added or not yet. I don't see utah alerts listed but I know I sent to the request to be added..

@enosjones I see “ENOS” as a member and that is a Group Alias name so it looks like you were able to join and update your group alias. Let me know if you are still having issues. Might be good to include a bit more details as to the exact issue and maybe a screenshot of what you are seeing.

I guess I just don't see the utah alert groups, am I supposed to oronly when something is alerted?

You really need to give me more information for me to be able to help you.

• What do you see when you log into GroupMe.com?
• Are you running Android or iPhone?
• What do you see when you log into the app on your phone and click the Chat Bubbles icon?
• Have you tried logging out and back in from your phone or the website?
• Are you sure you are logged in to the same account that you signed up with?

I can see it now when I checked it after I added it I didn't see anything...
