Do you mean a Serial to USB adaptor for the GPS/Remote port on the back? Or the PC interface port on the front, which is the 4-pin mini to Serial cable that came with the scanner?

As NYRHKY94 noted, you're probably mistaking the serial connector on the scanner for a VGA port. That's not correct.

"Assuming" the OP is referring to the Serial port on the back of the radio, I use the cable below with my 15X for programming (not GPS). Works well and no driver issues. Available on Amazon and many other online retailers.
