RRDB has one DMR conventional frequency & two TGIDs listed as "Fire Southeast" & shared with surrounding communities. You'll need a DMR capable receiver to bring them in

Faulkner County

All fire departments are working on the VHF system for now for paging and fireground operations. Also see the Pager Tones in the WIKI.

SouthEast: Liberty/Vilonia/Etc.

All fire depts in Faulkner county went to DMR/MotoTrbo. The only analog channel in the county that can be heard is the paging repeater.
There are three talk groups per repeater. for a total of 12 DMR talk groups for the county.

Thank you for the info. I have a whistler TRX-2 which shouldn't be a problem. Are there differences between antennas, do you need a certain kind of antenna to pick up DMR. Thank you

Hoping you can help me. I have a TRX-2 and I know Vilonia went to DMR. I have updated my scanner but I'm only hearing the fire units and not the dispatch. Can you give me some advice for a good antenna.

Thank You

Are you monitoring analog for the paging? Per post 4, above (which you replied to previously), they page on analog and use DMR for comms after the page. You'll need the analog programmed to hear the page outs and the DMR programmed for the department(s) you want to hear. I'm guessing maybe you only have the DMR stuff programmed in so just try throwing in the analog for paging, as well, and see if you hear them then.

The following is the paging repeater info in the county.

RX 153.980
That is for all fire departments in the county.

Response is on the respective DMR channels on one of the 7 repeaters in the county.
Also updated info has been submitted to the WIKI for Faulkner county as well as Submitted new data.

hope this helps.

This is the same way that Baxter County Rural Fire Departments are setup. They page on one analog frequency and after the initial page switch to their respective DMR repeaters, With that being said, You'll need the analog and digital programmed in to hear both.
