Thank you for the info. I have a whistler TRX-2 which shouldn't be a problem. Are there differences between antennas, do you need a certain kind of antenna to pick up DMR. Thank youRRDB has one DMR conventional frequency & two TGIDs listed as "Fire Southeast" & shared with surrounding communities. You'll need a DMR capable receiver to bring them in
Faulkner County
All fire departments are working on the VHF system for now for paging and fireground operations. Also see the Pager Tones in the WIKI.
SouthEast: Liberty/Vilonia/Etc.
An antenna doesn't care what voice mode a transmission is. Focus on band. If the stock antenna doesn't do the job, pick up an antenna which covers VHF, do you need a certain kind of antenna to pick up DMR. Thank you

Hoping you can help me. I have a TRX-2 and I know Vilonia went to DMR. I have updated my scanner but I'm only hearing the fire units and not the dispatch. Can you give me some advice for a good antenna. All fire depts in Faulkner county went to DMR/MotoTrbo. The only analog channel in the county that can be heard is the paging repeater.
There are three talk groups per repeater. for a total of 12 DMR talk groups for the county.

Thanks for the info, I still can't get the page outs, I can get the units talking but nothing else. I have 153.0200 DMR and 153.0200 analog installed and nothing. I'm I missing something?Just an update to this, Faulkner County is talking about moving all Fire Department operations to the city of Conway Trunking system (CWIN) within the next 5 years. Each fire department will have its own talk group on the system for department use for training etc.
They will be paged on one talk group and then go to one of seven other talk groups for operations. Talk is to have all talk groups be phase 2.
