Shirley, you can at least receive the EDACS control channel on the SDR?
When I find the CC I adjust my warp, and then the scope. unmute it for a few seconds to make sure its the CC. after that no voice channels, no transmissions. Ok, I just tried again. I'll attach a pic. Out of the 24 frequencies, the only CC was under 854.1625 which is not listed as a CC (i think) well I just checked the database for Volusia East EDACS and 854.1625 is not even listed. no wonder it's not working. It's the only freq that registers as a CC when searching for one. it's only showing M 00 and Dig. The second attached pic is from February when everything was working fine. Disregard the vfo1 in second pic. Let me move my antenna a little and see if I can find the CC for the East system.

Edit: should've made the pics bigger.

Edit 2 ok the CC frequencies that were showing up in unitrunker are not the same listed on the RR database. Going back to try and fix.

Well this is hard to explain. Maybe this should be in the unitrunker thread. Every time I pick the East Site I see the correct frequencies once. If I pick the first one (which is the CC) it changes to a set of default freqs.

Just before reaching the Amazon warehouse, I was hearing traffic about a car chase, pretty consistently.
That was probably the New Amazon Warehouse (MCO2) in Deltona. My guess is either you were listening to Simonole P25 by accident, or you were listening to Volusia EDACS and hearing one of the PSIC Talkgroups with a P25 Patch to it. I don't believe any PSIC TGs are on the P25 System—at least not on the east site. I am unsure about the Sanford site, too. Could it be anything realy. I cant be 100% Certan.

Try going to the Sites tab and deleting all the LCNs, and adding them in manually. You also must stop the SDR First. I recall having the same issue, and this fixed it.

When I was in Daytona Beach for the 4th of July, I picked up a total of 4 sites for P25 in Volusia County. Only the Sanford site (001) appeared to be carrying any traffic (although I wasn't listening to all sites 24/7).

Also to note, on RR, it shows site 2 using one of the control channels of 852.0125. I did NOT notice that while decoding the system. And since 852.0125 is 8TAC92, I would have doubts that a 8TAC frequency would be used in a trunking system.

OK here we go. The first pic is the correct frequencies when I delete everything and start over. For an example, once I click on 856.2625 (to see if it's the CC) it will change to the default 854.0125-854-2000 freqs. (above pic)

2nd Pic: Now, I took Seagrave's advice and entered them manually, found the CC at 856.9875.....but guess what? It was showing APCOP25. This CC is listed as a EDACS CC East Site Volusia. Hmmmm

Ah, lol. Try disabling APCOP25 in the VFO's Decode options. The control channels rotate often, almost every 24-48 hours.

I'm pretty sure they're testing out the P25 system using some of the EDACS' frequencies and possibly frequencies from Flagler county.
The control channel for 91F82.00A-40.40 is on 856.2625 (but decoded RFSS_STS_BCST data stream indicates its actual control channel as 853.3625, which is the same CC for Flager's BEE00.9EB system). And the control channel for 91F82.00A-2.2 is on 852.0875 as of now.

Here's a screenshot of DSD FL decoding 856.2625. Notice the second RFSS_STS_BCST stream indicates CC=853.3625.1.JPG
Volusia P25 is definitely the strangest system switchover I've ever logged.

What happened was he grabbed Ch. 1 as a P25 control channel and it overwrote all of the subsequent channels in the list. 3 - 16 are still EDACS. 1 is sending a P25 CCH. P25 populates the channels used instead of entering them in a list. It happens in mine, too, if 1 detects as P25 first. Just uncheck the P25 box or you'll need to manually repopulate the whole list again for EDACS.

851.5125 just popped up transmitting an open carrier. It could be WPMB443 or WPLU676.

Both of those licenses come up as being licensed to the state. Both are GE licenses or "Public Safety Ntl Plan". The emissions don't come back to being P25 trunked either. I doubt either has anything to do with the EDACS or P25 systems.

RFSS_STS_BCST for 91F82.00A-2.2 indicates 851.5125 as a control channel.
91F82.00A (the system as a whole) is acting kinda strange lately. I've seen site broadcasting Flager or Seminole s frequency as its control channel or using frequencies not listed on FCC ULS. Maybe they're testing out ISSI or interop stuff guess we'll wait and see

I haven't even attempted to listen in the last few months. Using Unitrunker is its own hell and add on to it a system that appears to be irregular (at least for me) makes troubleshooting - well, not that fun.

Mon was sitting at buc-ee’s site 10 and 40 control channels sds100 vs dsdplus.

Site 10
Sds 855.2125 nac 00a
dsd 852.3125 nac 00a

Site 40
Sds 856.9875 nac 028
Dsd 854.0875 nac 028

Dsd soon as I put in a control channel shown on sds the dsd will go to the ones listed above anyone has that problem?
