I live in Orange county. Months ago, I used to be able to receive. Lately, nothing on EDACS, although, when I used to receive them, I had to break out a Yagi and very carefully aim it towards Volusia. Nowadays, I'm attempting to listen in with a discone in my attic.
I know, it is dicey to answer my question, what with me switching back to a discone from a Yagi, but, still, I'm wondering, before I break out the Yagi again, where is Volusia now, are they still transitioning over to P25?
Are they still mostly on EDACS?
I know they have a P25 site near me in Seminole , but, as far as I've discerned, that site has their antennae pointed northeast towards Volusia so, I'm unable to receive it.
If they are still on EDACS, I guess I would have to set up my Yagi again, but, before I do, I'd like to know where the system stands.
