Fire Dispatch Simulcasting on TG 303
I'm hearing that too. I'll submit a database update. I am also hearing PD units on TG105.

Fire Dispatch Simulcasting on TG 303
Today they appear to be in full time simulcast mode, at least the PD is on TG105. I know last week I heard the FD last week.
This is the start of their transition I suppose.
I wonder just how long the simulcast. It would seem the feed I host for this system has it's days numbered.
West Orange now is in the process of migrating to the new P25 TRS. The PD mobile installs will be completed by Friday with Fire installs starting next week.
Is the DPW moving over to the new system? They have talkgroups on the current system but they don't seem to be used much.
DPW is the last resource to move over. By the end of November. Is the DPW moving over to the new system? They have talkgroups on the current system but they don't seem to be used much.
Even with the new system they are still having issues with serious dead spots within town. The topography is tough in WO and in some outside locations but especially inside a few locations a total dead area...
The EDACS was not great, especially on dispatch, but the guys on patrol would always have issues in certain areas...with the new radios they are still having issues...surprisingly but still an issue...
According to the posted FCC license data, it is a simulcast system. Two (2) sites currently licensed.Sounds like they're going to have to add additional satellite receivers throughout town... Maybe even go to a simulcast system?
Encryption is deployed on certain NJSP talkgroups already. What are you asking specifically?
The RR database indicates “simulcast” system. Are you sure these two sites are simulcast? I think they are just two different transmitter sites which they have had for many years...
The RR database indicates “simulcast” system.
Correct. The P25 system is licensed for simulcasting from 2 separate sites. One site in West Orange, the other in Livingston. The EDACS says "primary"
The P25 says "simulcast"
on the RR database
also, the second transmitter is on a water tower in Livingston:
