There are 3 VHF frequencies they use. These are dispatched to the first available tow.
140.955 - Niagara
143.535 - Brantford
149.665 - King City

So far, no one has posted the specific highway areas these frequencies cover.

Thank you the closest to me would be King City so I will leave the scanner on that. I usually listen to Fire since the dispatch center for my area is in Barrie. I am in Angus.

I just picked up OPP on 149.665 looking for Tow Truck on Highway 404 very clear using the Anytone D578UV mobile radio. My antenna is 40ft up.

The Niagara and King frequencies seem to be simulcast.

They should have set them as P25, the signal is fairly weak in the Toronto area.

I am hearing them dispatch all over the place from King City as well. I wonder if there is any clear comms from the center in Orillia. Perhaps I will talk to one of the actual tow truck drivers to see how they are getting calls and what they listen to on their radios in my area or north of Barrie.
