I was just wondering today how to check for updates so I could check the above like I've done before....but before I just happened upon it and today I was wonder how to have ProScan check RR for differences......

If the system was created in the fav list by the method I posted above, the rrdb differences button will appear next to the system. Not next to the heading of system, like in your screenshot. When it’s shows next to the system, you would click it and on the window that opens, you click get data and it displays the differences between what’s in your scanner, what’s in Proscan, and what’s listed on radio reference.
I've been using ProScan for years....I just got the SDS100 and created my FL.....I've seen the RRDB differences that I posted the pic of but now 2 of you have mentioned RRDG Differences BUTTON.....
I have not and have never seen this button, can someone send me a pic please?
Well I just realized I was using version 17 of the Manual
It shows
but it does not show enough of the screen so I can see where to find this......IT CAN'T BE THIS HARD

Now I can press the RRDB buttone and get the boxes
"File" > "Import Radio Reference Web"......

Just an update.....got on RR today and check and the RRDB Differences button is there and still works w/o are read/write.....
I was using 23.5 so I don't know why I had this issue but it does appear that IF not there, try a Read/Write......

Go check the last couple pages in the Proscan software thread. Believe there may have been changes between 23.5 and 24 regarding rrdb differences. Use to write a file rrdb.txt and believe newer writes to fav list and eliminates the txt file. When I upgraded to 24 I lost some stuff.
Yes....24 did seem to have some problems.....it would intermittently hang when changing tasks.....I did (as always with ProScan) just install it like an upgrade. I was going to copy data and uninstall then try 24 again.....But the other day, when trying to get the RRDB Differences, I just installed it......it's been running fine since....and like I said today.....RRDB Differences is back and working.....
I love ProScan!
Still have some spreadsheets from manually entering names and frequencies
That's why I built Gorden's interface for my 2006 so I could program through the PC.....the good ol days......but I like this new stuff better!!Have a great and Safe Weekend!!
