What kind of scanner antenna connection is this ??

Greetings...

I haven't come across this type of connection before. I purchased 2 antennas off of E-Bay and it came with this type of connection. I presume there would be a adapter so I can actually use it with my SDS-100.

I agree with @nd5y looks like a TNC.

To stick this on your SDS-100, you'd want to use one of these:

But be careful, sticking adapters on there puts additional strain on the scanners antenna jack, which can lead to damage.

Yes it is. In fact is looks like a BNC connection, except it doesn't have the 2 nobs to lock the antenna in.

There's also such thing as a Reverse Threaded TNC connection. Sometimes they are used and if you end up with one, don't take forever to see what the problem is, just get an appropriate adapter. Hopefully it isn't used on your connector.
