Probably a database update versus firmware.Out of curiosity, when was the last firmware update? As cities and towns grow, zip codes do change.
I must be doing something fundamentally wrong because I entered the zip and coordinates and still get out of range when I send the update to the scanner.Let Joe Bearcat know. The Zip code table will need to be updated.
FWIW - there are no 85xxx in the entire file.
If you care to edit :
The file is in your \Program Files (x86)\Uniden\BCDx36HP Sentinel
File is Ziplistus.txt - editable with any text editor.

That is interesting. I figured it would part of the typical database updates. The Zipcode file is separate from the database. It will require an update to Sentinel. It has been done before a few times.
On my SDS200, I have Main 1.10.00 and Sub 1.02.01. 85142 shows out of range. What version of the firmware do you have? I tried it on my SDS200 as well as my HomePatrol and 85142 works fine. 85412 does report out of range as expected.
