Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this post! I know California CHP still uses VHF low band but what other states/state municipalities use it actively in 2021? Reminiscing a bit I read an old post from Dec 2013 that made me ponder if it’s still a thing outside Cali. any Law enforcement still using Low band

When I traveled to this county this month, there were still transmissions. I did hear Sheriff Dispatching so that confirmed they still used it.

155.74500 WPUF608 RM192.8 PLPawneeCo SheriffSheriff Dispatch
and there were still transmissions on the station hospital frequencies (provided via the link above). Kansas rural counties still use frequencies like these for frequency paging especially, and smaller counties (like this one) that can not afford P25 still use conventional.

That is VHF, he is talking VHF Low Band (30MHz), like CHP uses still.

MA State Police still have radios installed in many cruisers even though they are on 800 MHz trunked. Sometimes hear car-to-car chat at traffic details, etc. on low band. Sometimes used as backup in the really hilly towns in western MA.

Also, my town's PD is still on 44.740 MHz and just happens to be dispatched by a MSP barracks. Too hilly for reliable 800 MHz penetration here.

Missouri HP rarely now.
Actually Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop D in Springfield uses low band daily as a backup to areas that have poor reception for the MoSwin system. I live near Carthage and get 42.12 daily and they use 42.06 more south and east of here. It is not their main means but it's like it is simulcast as a backup.

Some local agencies here and there throughout Ohio still use low band, but pretty few and far between these days.
