Hi to all. Hope this is the right place to ask.
I have a BCD996XT. I can program the conventional channels with FreeScan.
I want to program in Morris County N.J. Police. It says they are on the Project 25 Phase I system
Voice is the APCO 25 common air interface exclusive
The talkgroups are Dec and Hex.
When I try to program using the different systems on FreeScan I only have the Ctcss for talkgroup options.
I hope y'all understand what I'm saying.
Thanks guys & gals.
Bless yas.

All you need is the proper system type and the control channel frequencies.

Then program the Talk Groups you want to hear and it will work.

84629

You don't need anything else for it to work.

You shouldn't see CTCSS if you do that.

Sounds like you are trying to program a Trunked System as a conventional system. Anytime you see CTCSS that is a clue for it being a conventional and analog system. Talkgroups are associated with trunked systems.

Give with the above post suggests and I think you'll be happy.

Here is a file for the trunked system. System quick key is 1. Group quick keys as follows:
1. Morris Co Law
2. Morris Co Fire
3. Morris Co Ops
4. MC MIRS Interop
5. MC Emerg Mgmt
6. MC Services
7. MC Radio Techs
Save the attached zipped file to your computer and extract. Open the extracted file with FreeSCAN and Upload Programming.
