No, that is not how that works. A power cycle will restore nothing.
I am not talking about the selection in EZ Scan. I am talking about pressing the SKIP button while receiving a signal, which temporarily locks out the channel. And when I power cycle (it at least works on my TRX-1) the channels which were temporarily locked out are restored.

Unless it is something just specific to TRX series only, when pressing the Skip button on channels on the scanner itself with the Skip Button Function set to Skip. Turning power off and turning it back on does not restore the skipped channels on a WS1080/1095. Have to go to Restore Skipped menu to remove channels from being skipped.

But this thread is comparing TRX and BCD996.

Does not matter, the scanners basically work the same between the WS series and TRX, except the TRX series has NXDN. The WS1080/1095 series does not have a keypad. Turning the scanner off then on does not remove skipped items. If it does on the TRX series, I would like to see Whistler implement the same function on the WS series of scanners if the TRX models do in fact operate like that.
