Currently the 2 municipalities are on a p25 phase 2 county wide system. There had been alot of issues with the current system as to officers and dispatchers communicating with each other. I have heard that mokena and Frankfort police are leaving the laraway communications center p25 system and going to the system that Orland Park is on. Thinking that it is through wescom. Anyone have any information on what type of system it is going to be analog or digital?? And what the potential frequencies are. ?? I have a trx-1 scanner and it's horrible r ception. As well as I have heard some of the officers saying the same thing happens on their end.

Is there any information about mokena PD and Frankfort PD leaving the will county P25 phase 2 county wide system through laraway communications center? I heard from a dispatcher that the 2 municipalities are moving to the system that Orland Park is on and I think that is through wescom?? If so is it going to be analog of digital? P25 system. The current system has issues which front what I have heard from some of the officers I know that it is putting their safety in question. Any frequencies would be helpful as I currently have a trx-1 scanner and monitor the p25 system and it definitely has issues.

Unless something has changed Orland Park is still on VHF analog. They are definitely not on Wescom.

Thats correct, Orland is behind the times and still on VHF=154.785, im sure there not joining that....They could join Wescom and be put on Starcom and would be using tower 102 and 113, maybe they will take Romeoville's spot on Starcom as there still on Will Co.....

Sounds like someone is feeding you horse manure. AT&T changing out 9-1-1 phone lines, applying to the state etc. Nothing on line either. When Ron says it's happening, then I'll believe it....until then....
