As fast as it came up it appears to be down again. The more I listened the WSP St. Croix car was having a. 10-80 headed for MN on the I. He lost the car so they were notifying MSP.

TG 154 not active again!!

I like listening to that talkgroup from Somerset.. I can't pick up the Eau Claire conventional tower from here but can hear what's being said via that group..Be nice if they left the "Scan" channels for each tower on.. I'm listening to TG154 and it's still working here through the Baldwin site..State patrol going to a suspicious vehicle report by the Holiday in Roberts

TG144 has been active around Central Wisconsin for weeks with the occasional test happening on 141 and 143.

Greetings...

I also noticed Talkgroup 3006 coming up on the UW-Milwaukee 800MHz site. I didn't catch enough traffic to identify who it was...but must be a WI-DOC facility. Perhaps one of the Racine county faclities made the switch over? I can't pick up any new 800MHz P25 CC's from Mitchell Field area.

TG 4017 on Chilton VHF tower, heard radio tests and "this is the transport vehicle".

This is probably Winnebago MHI or Wisconsin Resource Center since they use 40XX talkgroups on their 800 system.

I think that the Winnebago DHS system is being relocated to the Chilton tower to become an 800 MHz WISCOM site, per the license for callsign: WQUQ684. This license is for the same frequencies that make up the current Winnebago DHS site.

Am noticing that county talk groups are active again. Hearing at least Eau Claire, Dunn and Trempealeau.

Any idea if they will last or if they will be shut off down the road?

I've heard those come n go so often..I wouldn't hold yer breath on em staying for too long...but things could be different now and they'll stick *shrug* -- I like using those groups for stuff I can't pickup with my own antenna..just to see what goes on in other areas of the state

Ashland started about then too.

Douglas Hwy was using the system for operations this morning. They along with Forestry will be using the system as a test prior to other entities in the County moving over.

Hey this is groovy news :). Looks like by the time i`m back up there in NW WI in june i can start listening to `em on WISCOM full-time, should be much easier to monitor stuff like highways & PD/fire. Any ideas as to when the rest will make the jump to the system? N9NRA

Currently there is an issue with paging from the Stargate consoles. It's being worked on, but until that is fixed there won't be any wholesale move by Fire and EMS. Timing will partially depend on if/what the advanced users find.

Been hearing action on Buffalo County tgid:26510 and Tremplealeau County tgid:62010. Seems like they are using there vhf and WISCOM. Don't know for sure those as I can barley pick up there vhf. I'm hitting the Arcadia tower. Only one I can pick up where I'm at.

Just had a look at the DB to try to find the TG you mentioned, it`s not there (yet). What TG is this? I might put that one into my unit just to see what i hear. N9NRA

Does anyone have a map of counties on WISCOM, Migrating to WISCOM, have interest in WISCOM, or No Plans for WISCOM?
