It’s pretty simple to do. On a Raspberry Pi running WPSD, you can disable WiFi by adding a few lines in the Raspberry Pi configuration file or by blocking the wlan interface. Just edit the config.txt or use raspi config to turn off wireless so your hotspot runs only on Ethernet. It keeps the setup stable and avoids any unwanted wireless connections.
