Hey, can we all keep this on subject? I'm looking forward to this release myself and subscribed to this thread for some updates. I don't monitor the Uniden forums anymore because of how all the threads derail.

But I don't care to scroll through a bunch of posts on how you've got your radios mounted or whether states should have better eye sight exams.

Updates? Since Paul hasn't chimed in with any details about the upcoming feature release, all this thread contains is pure speculation.

Look at scanner master web site under the 436. in features it says Siren APP - Coming soon. Could this be the next big thing that upman said was coming at the end of the month?

Great catch! That is a typo, likely a copy-paste thing with the 536.

EDACS Provoice won't do us any good in New Mexico.

To the best of my knowledge, the only Provoice system (Albuquerque, Bernalillo County) in this state is moving to P25.

I'm still rooting for either better simulcast performance or DMR (MotoTRBO). Hopefully, we'll know more tomorrow . . . I, for one, have enjoyed all the speculation!

The announcement is tomorrow. We all know that there is a big difference between announcements and actual availability with regard to these x36HPs. Let's hope tomorrow is more than just an announcement/information, but rather something we can actually download and have in our hands (I mean scanners.).
