PMS Memory Scan issue solved
Forgot to mention that the manual seems wrong in regards to initiating a PMS programmed-memory-scan for the Yaesu FT-270 / 277 between a lower and upper frequency limit. In this case, RTFM doesn't work.
What DOES work for PMS scanning is:
Program your upper and lower frequency limits (L1 and U1). You can make up to 10 search ranges.
To activate - make sure you are in VFO mode.
Press and hold VFO until "PMSx" appears.
Press and hold [A/N 6] to start the pms scan.
That last button press [A/N 6] differs from the button to activate it in the manual, and took me about 2 years to figure out by just going nutso until I got it.
