My FTM 400 spontaneously changes memory channels on its own. I can watch it change from one memory to anther without touching a button or mike.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Something is wrong. I've owned four of these radios for many years and have never seen this occur. My first thought went to the microphone... perhaps a stuck/dirty UP/DN button, broken wire, or poor connection? Remove the microphone and see if that clears it up.

I have seen this happen but only when running HF radios close by and none of the coax cables have any type of common mode chokes installed.

If there aren't any HF radios being used close by them you definitely have an issue with the radio. Check for a bad mic cable, mic connector and the mic itself.
