Had a question about radio ids in York county. I was listening to police tac 8 the other day while they were attempting to arrest a drug offender hiding in his home. However most of the radio id's being used were the regular ones beginning with 15.... and so on. However i saw id's transmitting that began with 18........ My question are they backup radios or part of the York county drug task force bc all other le agency's on the county have 15...... ids so I hope all that made sense

According to the wiki there is no 13 for a law enforcement call sign for York county. my question is I hear that call sign quite frequently on all the pd dispatch frequencies. may be affiliated with probation? if anyone has some knowledge I would love to find out

Hello all. I have been noticing a new tgid on the york county p25 phase 2 system of 50107. i believe it to be a cumberland county fire dispatch patch. they did a testing today at noon and were dispatching fd to south middleton twp and several other locations in cumberland my question is if a local listener could confirm my finding before i submit it to the rrdb

Keep in mind digitalfrequencysearch is an aggregator which spits out results if a license contains digital emissions. Just because license contains said emissions doesn't guarantee their use. Plenty of cases where a license could contain DMR and/or NXDN emissions but ops are analog. Even some cases where only analog emissions appear on a license but ops are DMR (or NXDN to a lesser extent) so therefore said license wouldn't appear in a digitalfrequencysearch query. Take WNLY783 for example. Just putting that out there ;)
