This afternoon sounded like REEF 11 and REEF 21 flights into Langley 1345 local
on ZDC UHF.
Normally a Homestead 482nd FW F-16 callsign.
Maybe in town to work the offshore ranges.

1705z MISTY 12 flight of 2 B-2's with ZDC UHF into W-386 mentioned the Raptors
had cancelled.
1810z MISTY-12 back at FL340 direct Whiteman ZDC Norfolk 327.800

10/18/17 @ 1110 local- Sounds like a few MD A10s traveling up the coast 271.4 mentioned LaGuardia Apt and various landmarks. I think they were going north. A few of tankers also orbiting off the NJ coast. A10s might be in AR on 288.0

Between October 21 and 24, 2017, the following aircraft are scheduled for flyover events:

Saturday, October 21

3:21 pm - Four (4) F-18 aircraft will be conducting a flyover of the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD for a football game.

Sunday, October 22

7:22 am - There will be a parachute jump conducted by eight (8) jumpers at the Pentagon for the Marine Corp Marathon opening ceremonies.

7:55 am - Two (2) V-22 Osprey aircraft will be conducting a flyover at the Pentagon for the Marine Corp Marathon opening ceremonies.

Tuesday, October 24

9:50 am - Four (4) F-18 aircraft will be conducting a flyover of Arlington National Cemetery.

This activity has been coordinated in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Secret Service, U.S. Capitol Police, U.S. Park Police, Department of Defense, Pentagon Force Protection Agency, Transportation Security Administration and other NCR area agencies.

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. — The U.S. Air Force is preparing to put nuclear-armed bombers back on 24-hour ready alert, a status not seen since the Cold War ended in 1991.


That means the long-dormant concrete pads at the ends of this base’s 11,000-foot runway — dubbed the “Christmas tree” for their angular markings — could once again find several B-52s parked on them, laden with nuclear weapons and set to take off at a moment’s notice.
