Anybody hear anything about NASA acquiring C-20B 86-0206?

It's currently inbound to Langley from Houston as NASA520.
FAA does have a pending reg for N520NA for it, listing the sn as 86-0206.
.

NASA808 N808NA heading there too.

Seems like new addition for NASA 86-0206..
Last logged headed for Texas 8/30 of this year assume L-3 overhaul work
then over to Houston on 11/3 of this year..
Maybe a future NASA Langley Chase plane?
Nice catch!

Some sites are attributing hex 053977 to E-6B 164404, but I just heard 163918 check in with ops for a deer check on their way into Pax.

The OP
Wow,that was way before Cadets even got into the Stadium..
That was even before it started snowing up there...
They cheated.. LOL but very cool!

Cadets and Midshipmen.

Always thought attack helicopters (particularly Apaches) looked like insects. Very cool though.

Yes Midshipmen as well.. In the words of Clint Eastwood..
The Apaches "Improvised,overcame and adapted"
Nice to see 5 of them instead of usual 4 birds.

Learned later the Navy F/18F's staged at KPHL airport. 168493/AG-200 "sporting new Anniversary marks" was reported there.

BTW been to both West Point (Michie Stadium) on campus and Annapolis for football games.Mostly Annapolis.
Both are great but West Point stadium on hillside near a Castle like fortress overlooking the Hudson was really unique.About 3 hour drive from here and worth a trip.I can see why G Washington and company liked that spot way back when.
Security is tougher at West Point games since actually on the campus and like going on to any military base.

Has anybody confirmed 100% that AE5C72 is 168457?

Because that hex has had JA458 as the callsign this week. JA=VX-1
Or are they swapping boxes or is this just a coincidence?

Yeah I saw that also.. No confirmation but could be box switch.AE5C73 not seen here since 11/15 this year.

Couple odd ones also logged lately down MD/Va way ANVIS callsign but logged them working
over the Ches Bay average speed of 110 knots and under 12k altitude.
ANVIS is Aviator's Night Vision Imaging System and home of (NVESD)
Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate at Davison AAF/Ft Belvoir.

AE5FE7
AE5FE8
Both low and slow and both showing ANVIS callsign.
One theory is that they are Army UV-18A's out of DavisonAAF/Ft Belvoir.
Last listed ANVIS UV-18A's at Davison AAF are
76-22565 and 82-23836.. Could be them reworked.

On the radio I've confirmed AE5FE7 as ANVIS21 which is supposed to be 82-23836, so that's how I've entered in adsbexchange.

And I've entered AE5FE8 as 76-22565 which should be ANVIS20. Have to wait until it's active again and try to catch it on the radio.
