Thanks, I'm in the process of a trade for one. My only challenge I forsee is the thick @** power cables running through my trim from the trunk to the battery. I will have pictures up in the coming weeks for sure. Is the Spectra friendly to external stuff, I.e I have a one way RICK setup currently with my CDM. Thanks again W5PKY.

Mine wasn't too bad. Turns out GM has a "control cable" track running under the floor trim.

Update.

A year ago Monday, the motor on my trailblazer died. I've been running without a UHF radio since…until today.

Added a Japanese diplexer I had laying around and reused the PM400 out of my trailblazer. It's a temporary install as I'm waiting for Simoco to actually get a stock of SDM700 series radios into the US that aren't already destined for another project. Either that or Cap Max proves to be Tier 3 compliant and I can install an XPR5550.

Lease time on a friend's license (getting company licenses). Listen to the local first responder systems as I usually end up being the contracted tower service. There's also some amateur VHF P25 around the state.

I really need to update this thread (it's been over a year now). It was brought to my attention that Photobucket is now pay-to-share on their hosting services apparently. Since some things have been changed to this truck, I will add some of the newer pictures since I moved over to Imgur (about a year ago).

Current Setup (using a VHF XTL5000 and the previously mentioned UHF PM400).

My needs for subscribers have changed over the last year and I find myself doing a little DMR (basically managing a Capacity Plus/Connect Plus system that I've got to finish building out before I can no longer get XRCs) and mostly P25 now so I've got some new radios to add (one will replace the PM400) just need the time and the console to figure it up. Also, the existing XTL will be upgraded from a W9 to a O5 control head.

This was the alignment and programming portion of the process...
